The Dance-Dr. Karen Royer, my mama

What better person to share next up than my mom, Dr. Karen Royer.

What better person to share about the dance than my mom, Dr. Karen Royer?

Oh, how can it be three years since you've left this world? Gosh, I think of you often, like every day. I miss you so much, but I know you are with me every day walking out this mission. I don't think we would be having Monday Night Family Dinners if you were still here. You would love it; I know you are there. You were the best at making everyone feel loved and seen. You were the best at gathering around the table. You could make macaroni and pistachio fluff fit for a king.

I remember Pastor Joe Champion telling us as a family to grow up at your celebration of life. I didn't really know what that meant at the time. Over the years, I've discerned it meant for me to grow up spiritually. I want to continue growing spiritually and learn so much about the goodness and kindness of a good, good Father.

It's a big day for me today. I'm pretty sure you asked Jesus to move a meeting four times and have it land on today. I'm expectant and excited.

I love you, mom, you're my favorite. Thank you for leading me so well through this dance of life.
